Our RMIA Participation

Riskcom was really pleased to present at the recent RMIA (Risk Management Institute of Australia) national conference held in Melbourne. Earl Eddings (Managing Director) and Michael MacLennan (Principle Consultant – Business Risk) facilitated a highly interactive workshop on the roles and functions of Audit and Risk Committee.

In particular our session focussed on:

• Providing a framework of the purpose and key functions of an Audit & Risk Committee
• Focussing on Committee responsibilities for effective, organisational risk management.
• Providing practical tools and tips to make ARC committees more effective and successful.
• Encouraging discussion, debate, and presentation of case studies to highlight strengths and weaknesses of ARC operations.

We thank RMIA for inviting Riskcom to deliver the session and we look forward to next years conference to be held in Adelaide.
